GeoPS: Read your GPS Logger with a Mac

GeoPS is a flight planning tool for Apple Macintosh. Pre flight you can program the logger with Waypoints, Routes and the required Declaration. Post flight you can read the IGC file that you can later use to obtain an FAI badge, or submit to the OLC.

GeoPS is quickly becoming the defacto standard for connecting to IGC loggers with the Apple Macintosh. If you use a logger for Gliding, Soaring, Parasailing, Hang gliding, or any other Air sport, and use a secure logger that is not supported by GeoPS, please report that to me and the logger manufacturer and soon GeoPS might support that logger too. If you are a manufacturer of IGC approved loggers for aviation sports, please contact us to add support for your logger.

The name GeoPS

The name GeoPS appears when one merges Geo and GPS. GeoPS is an application that allows users to talk to Loggers to extract tracks they have traveled on Earth (Geo) from their GPS loggers. It is quite a limitation, but for now, GeoPS only handles tracks over Mother Earth.
